Please get the scripture straight! God said that the LOVE OF money is the root of all evil. Money is not evil. The bible says, "money answereth all things." I don't think God was talking about fiat currency. He meant His money, not man's. People say, "the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away." Wrong! It should say, "Man giveth and man taketh away."
"The silver and gold are mine saith the Lord." Greed is evil, the lust of.... is evil, theft is evil. To the religious, please stop making consultants out to be demons. Consultants consult. They stop people from starving and/or making bad decisions for their households and businesses. (Google: money september 30th.)
Now as for the picture, this guy could possibly be a hoarder or he could be taking it from his job at the bank and burning it because it just became worthless. People need to stop that lie about the "Vow of Poverty" because Jesus wasn't poor. He was so rich that a thief...Judas, had the bag! Did you know that? Jesus wasn't worried about him stealing it because there was more where that came from. All Jesus had to do was call on the God-in-Him like He did in so many miracles. Fish, loaves, healing, etc.
So, before man giveth and then taketh away, make sure that your REAL money is stashed away in a safe place where no one can incinerate it, neither can they... buy gold.
So, are we straight on the scripture now? Good. Now everyone can hopefully stop demonizing good people doing the Lord's work. Each time we help someone, God blesses us with more. (And that includes a 'network' of beautiful people.)
God bless. ~ Essie
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. (Revelation 3:18)
